About

The Granny Smith is a large sized green apple.  It is the firmest of all apple varieties with its characteristic hard, white, tart and juicy flesh, making it perfect for all cooking methods such as baking, freezing, making pies and salads. Also a great apple for juicing.

The Granny Smith is grown in the Great Southern and South West regions of Western Australia.

They are harvested in April and available for the rest of the year.

Their flesh is crisp, tart and juicy.

Apples are best stored in fruit and vegetable compartment or the coolest section of the refrigerator (below 5 degrees) for maximum longevity.

Place in refrigerator with care to ensure no bruising and wash just before using.

Allow the fruit to warm to room temperature and wash when ready to prepare.
